Lady Hester Lucy Stanhope (1776 – 1839) was an eccentric English aristocrat who was known as the White Queen of Palmira. This bold traveler and explorer settled near Sidon and later on she became a hermit in the mountains of Lebanon, where she eventually died.
This apartment, located at the entrance of the building on the ground floor, is very spacious and bright, with windows overlooking two streets. It has a large living room with original wooden beams, a fully integrated kitchen, bedroom and bathroom with disabled access.
